We have sadly observed multiple instances where a unit's lifespan was surprisingly short, failing in under seven years. They simply are not built for consistency.

I have found the operational volume of some of the residential chain-drive units to be quite high compared to competing models, which can be audibly disruptive. Many of the chain systems slap against the inside of the rail, producing lots of noise.
